Response Support

Units

When incidents occur or risks escalate, frontline teams need practical support – not just instructions over the phone. Proact Security Services provides Response Support Units: mobile, security-led support that brings vehicles, equipment and experienced operatives to the locations where your teams need them most.

(We support your existing security, facilities and incident management arrangements – we do not replace the emergency services.)

Service Overview

Our Response Support Units are designed to back up your people on the ground. Using GPS-tracked vehicles and vetted operatives, we deliver equipment, assist with temporary measures and provide an additional, professional presence during planned operations and unplanned events.

Response Support Units are ideal for:

  • Supporting security teams during heightened risk or major incidents

  • Backing up facilities and estates teams responding to site issues

  • Assisting with temporary control points, cordons or access changes

  • Providing mobile support for multi-site or dispersed operations

  1. Pre-agreed framework
We work with you in advance to understand your sites, risks and escalation routes, creating a simple framework for when and how Response Support Units can be requested.

  2. Request and activation
When support is needed, your control or nominated manager contacts us through the agreed channel. We confirm the nature of the task, priority and location.

  3. Deployment and arrival
Units are deployed using GPS-tracked vehicles. On arrival, operatives report to your on-site lead or control point and receive local instructions.

  4. On-site support
Our team carries out agreed tasks, adjusts as situations develop and keeps your control informed of any significant changes or issues.

  5. Stand-down and recovery
Once the task is complete, equipment is collected and removed, any temporary measures are handed back to your team, and units return to base or to the next assignment.

  6. Post-deployment record
A concise record of the deployment is produced, summarising timings, locations and key actions taken.
